There were some who felt that making the HPV vaccine available to teenage girls would lead to risky sexual conduct. The latest research indicates that there was no difference in the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases between girls who were and were not vaccinated. This suggests that getting the vaccine does not impact sexual behavior.
